QUEENS

The Miss Georgia Peach Scholarship Pageant has
been in existence for 20 plus years. The current
board of directors assumed management of the
pageant in 1999 after the Pilots Club of Fort
Valley discontinued sponsorship. The pageant is
held at the Pettigrew Center in Fort Valley, Ga in March every year and is
open state wide. The queens have always served
as the Ambassadors of the famous Georgia Peach
Festival held in Jun of each year in Peach
county. The pageant prides itself on being a positive learning experience for girls ages 4 - 23. We are also a training ground and a stepping stone for Miss Georgia preliminaries. We have had many girls who participated in the Georgia Peach pageant go on to the Miss Georgia stage including the 2006 Miss Georgia, 2006 Miss America 2nd Runner-Up and 2007 Miss Georgia USA, Amanda Kozak. Amanda was our 2002 Miss Georgia Peach Queen. |
